This is what can happen to your lavender when you go on vacation during the first week of July. Rather than having the "lovely" buds to harvest, I now have the "lovely" flowers. Not the peak time to harvest, but since I've missed it; I will harvest immediately to maintain as much of the scent as possible.

Lovely Lavender!
This is what can happen to your lavender when you go on vacation during the first week of July. Rather than having the "lovely" buds to harvest, I now have the "lovely" flowers.
